High Temperature cables defines a group of cable types that
will continue to perform their function without noticeable de-rating at high
temperature (In the range 100 to 900°C)
Our range of high temperature cables are to various British and International Standards, including BS6231, BS 3G 210, BS EN 50525-2-41, UL 1015 and CSA 22.2.

We also supply high temperature cables meeting Defence Standard (Def Stan)
61-12 Part 8.
Our most popular high temp cable is, undoubtedly, Tri-Rated cable… This is the default panel wiring cable for control panel builders and OEMs capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures of 105°C and fully approved to BS, CSA and UL standards! Due to popular demand, we keep large stocks of sizes from 0.5mm² up to 120mm² in a variety of colours. For them tight installs our stock includes super-flexible (Class 6) tri-rated cable (C-TRI) in Black. View the Tri-Rated Cable Technical Specifications.
Available to order is the range of “striped” Tri-rated cables. The base high temperature PVC sheath is the same as our standard Tri-Rated, but stripes can be added in any colour combination in a parallel or spiral configuration.
2491B / 6701B Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable is suitable for wiring applications where smoke and toxic fumes arising in a fire situation may threaten life or equipment.
Silicone cables for use in extreme conditions Silicone cables are often the answer as they do not become brittle and crack, unlike PVC. We supply a range of silicone cables designed to continuously operate at temperatures as low as -50°C and as high as +180°C suitable for numerous applications. Flexible single core SIF cable has class 5 tinned copper wire stands, a silicone insulation and is available in various colours. SIFF cable is a single core extra flexible cable with silicone rubber insulation. SID cable is a solid class 1 tinned copper wire with a silicone insulation SiF-GL glass fibre braided cable offers mechanical protection against accidental damage. SiHF multicore silicone cables are available in a range of size from 2core 0.75mm² up to 4core 25mm². If mechanical protection is required SiHF-P flexible cable has a Galvanised Steel Wire Braid (GSWB) over the outer sheath offering additional protection to the cable.
