CSE Cables Export division recently completed an order for a regular customer for 3 core 11kV Medium Voltage Power Cable. The client who is an electrical hardware company based in Mombasa in Kenya, had a requirement for 150 metres of 11kV power cable with steel wire armour (SWA) and compliant to BS6622 for supply to an sub mains electricity supply project. Marc Lawrence who leads the CSE Cables Export team, ensured that the cable had an SGS Inspection prior to leaving the UK making sure they were of the highest quality for the customer – removing unnecessary testing in Kenya.
Marc also arranged all of the sea freight detail enabling a delivery to the customer within the required timescales. Marc commented on the order saying “this was an interesting job from our customer who as usual required the highest levels of service and quality of product. We were able to work with our manufacturers to deliver this high standard, within his budget and deliver it by sea in time for the project implementation.”
